Christina Beck has had a distinguished 50-year career performing and teaching eurythmy throughout Europe and North America. She trained at Emerson College in England and at the Eurythmeum Stuttgart Germany, receiving a stage diploma from Else Klink and becoming a member of the Stuttgart Eurythmeum Stage Group. She held the position of pedagogical eurythmist at the Washington Waldorf School in Maryland for 21 years and founded Novalis Eurythmy Inc. During the years 2005-2013, she was a core faculty member of the Eurythmy Spring Valley professional training and of the ESV Stage Group while directing the Educational Eurythmy Training. Recently retired from the Emerson Waldorf School in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, she mentors in all fields eurythmic! She gives master classes and courses for eurythmists, and the general public. Her approach is informed by her spirit of inquiry, her love of teaching and of the art of eurythmy.
